What is Awana?

Awana is a Bible-based curriculum that partners with parents to foster faith at home. AWANA encourages Scripture memorization and Bible study skills as it cultivates meaningful relationships with peers and leaders. AWANA is designed to promote connection with loving and caring adults so kids establish a sense of belonging and discipleship in order to cultivate a deep and lasting faith in our children. This is aided by the use of Awana workbooks. The workbooks are used during small group time. These workbooks help kids to focus on learning, memorizing, and understanding God’s awesome Word. To help cover the costs of Awana there is a $40 registration fee. If you need assistance to help with these costs, there are loving and compassionate individuals at Palos Bible Church, who would help cover these costs so that finances do not keep your child from participating in Awana at our church.

When is Awana?

Wednesday nights 7:00-8:15 PM during the school year (September through April.)
